Ah, to be young again… I remember my 21st b-day… well actually I remember the morning of my 21st… and I remember the next day ; ) but that was such a very very very very long time ago… ok not THAT long ago…

Okay, so it's been basically forever since anyone posted in...any thread. So, I'm going to try to start the lesson in potions (though I was kind of waiting for someone else to post) later tonight or tomorrow.
Brae and I have been somewhat busy with work and...death respectively, so we haven't been working on the plot too much. I have faith, though, that once we sit down and hammer out some details, we'll get it finished in one or two nights.

There were a couple of reasons for my inactivity the past week or so. My daughter got her tonsils out on August 4th and I was out of work until the 11th and my computer at home crashed. I have no idea when it will be fixed or up and running, but as I used all of my personal and Vacation time, it will be a loooong time before I have anymore days off at work. I'm back in business.

I realize this board is re-starting and all that, but do you think that RP, membership, and activity in general will pick up?

Well, as you said, we are just restarting. I'm sure some of our members have yet to receive the email I sent out a while ago. When they do, I'm sure they'll return. We're kind of giving them time to reply to the character updates thread before moving on. It might be a week (unless they all post before then) before we move on, if not a bit longer. We need to figure out a few possible bugs in the timeline so we can move smoothly once again. In the mean time, RP is encouraged as long as it's not in favor of any particular timeline; it's difficult but not impossible.
As for membership, I have been advertising and spreading word about the group recently, and we've had a few new members in just the past few days. Our visitor count is up too, and I have no doubt that this will continue. So, we have high hopes on that front.
So, to answer your question, yes.
And welcome to OotARP.

I just wanted to say that the encyclopedia is a great idea! I can't wait for the spells one to be up. It will be so helpful to RP with that. Even for those of us who know the majority of the spells and stuff from the books, it keeps it all ordered. I was on a site that didn't have that before and it was a powerplay fest with all these random (and bad) spells people just made up on the spot.

I am trying to watch the new clips for Glee tomorrow, but it keeps on cutting out like the last 10-15 seconds of video, and then going to the end screen and playing the audio!~ GAH OOBER FRUSTRATION! I give up.
