Biography: Artemesia and Adonis were born to Kazemde and Anthea Massri. Kazemde is one of the Egyptian Ministry of Magic's most well-known ambassadors. As such, he's been sent all over the world for his work. In one of these stints in another country, trying to sort out some problem or other, he met is wife. Anthea was the daughter of a rich Ministry worker in Greece. They married almost immediately and Anthea has been traveling with her beloved husband ever since.
Their children have been dragged along, much to their distaste, all over the world. It sounds a lot more glamorous when you are not the one changing schools every three months or so, leaving friends behind (if you have time to make friends), and only having one person to turn to, your sibling.
Needless to say, while they were being dragged from Beauxbatons to Durmstrang to WADA to a vast array of other magical institutions, Artemesia and Adonis became quite close, nigh unseperable. They're each other's best friend and tell each other almost everything.
In their fifth year, they spent the longest time on record at any one school. WADA was that lucky school. However, they really only managed to make a handful of friends there. Perhaps it was the fear that they could be ripped out of this familiar setting at any moment, should the politics of the magical world shift and their father was needed elsewhere, that caused them to still be outcasts.
But they were quite right to assume things would change, and their father was sent off to London. Hogwarts was their next home.
Adonis could not be more unlike his sister. He's dedicated, loyal, and extremely patient (he'd have to be to put up with some of Artemesia's antics). He does quite well in school, particularly care of magical creatures and herbology as he loves being outside. However, he isn't looking for a career that has to do with either of these. Adonis plans to follow in his father's footsteps. That, and that alone, is what prompted him to take muggle studies as his other elective.
He's been known to put others' needs before his own. In fact, there doesn't seem to be a selfish bone in his body (something that Artemesia is quite disdainful about). This has led him to a severe struggle that he doesn't dare share with Artemesia. Adonis found out something about himself long ago that is greatly at odds with his goals, the goals of a purist. He's hidden it as best he could, but somehow people keep guessing what it is. Artemesia seems blind to the entire thing, though; whether that is a choice she's made or if she really is unaware of what is going on, it is uncertain. However, Adonis is not taking the risk and sharing it with her, due to his fear of her reaction. She's all he has, and he refuses to lose her. So, he's battling this major issue as best he can, despite his own desires, to keep the life to which he's become accustomed. What is it? We'll see if you can guess!
