{name:Katarina Borgin#|#picture:1}A fresh start.
That was what Hogwarts had always been to Katarina. It was a means of escaping the "dedicated" and "focused" imbeciles she'd been forced to associated with at that poor excuse for a school--WADA. Hogwarts had been a shining beacon of hope that their severely lacking educational system would not have condemned her to a profession she'd loathe or a life of stupidity.
And then there'd been Tavis.
He'd always been there for her, and to see him again, to be close to him, to be given a chance to foster the trust he'd placed in her, to take up his cause, was another thing altogether.
She'd transfered at the end of last semester, and had only had enough time at the castle to realize this new life was all she'd built it up to be. The people were inherently smarter and more dedicated, the teacher were skilled and knowledgeable about their subjects, and Tavis was only about a mile away!
This year was yet another beginning. It provided her with the chance to nurture the seeds she'd planted in those select few that had gathered last year. It was a chance to gather more members, to further their cause, and to explore the vast amount of possibilities the castle and its residents held for her.
Her red hair fanned out behind her in the slight autumn breeze that whisked around her. It had been a long day of grueling NEWT-level classes. Ancient Runes alone would be enough to secure her a room in the insanity ward of St. Mungo's, but she'd manage. She'd retreated to the grounds to find a few moments of tranquility before dinner.
She tossed the last remnants of the bread from lunch into the lake as she wiggled her bare toes just below the surface. Her socks and shoes lay abandoned next to her bulging school bag. As the giant squid's tentacle surfaced to capture the floating treat, she looked up to see that her moment of peace was about to be interrupted.
