Biography: Addison Rolf is the daughter of Emily Nelson and Robert Rolf. The couple met 17 years ago and knew that their lives wouldn’t be complete without each other. Little did they know that their paths would soon change after Emily gave birth to their first and only daughter on August 14th. Robert was a traveler he loved to see the world and would do odd jobs to get by in life. He made sure his family was taken care of but they were always moving around. Emily tired of this after having their baby and left him after their daughter's second birthday.
Emily then bounced from boyfriend-to-boyfriend carrying her daughter through this as well until Addison was 3, when Emily finally settled down in the states with a man that worked as a welder. His name was Joey Nelson. Emily stowed her wand away and anything dealing with magic was soon a distant memory.
Addison grew up seeing her father very occasionally. If she was lucky Emily would let her see him twice a year. But that didn’t stop her from loving him. Robert was the only father Addison would ever claim.
Emily became so blinded by love and stability that she hadn’t realized how Joey mistreated her daughter. Joey would never take Addison anywhere or do anything for her unless Emily was there. Joey always called Addison horrible and colorful names that he often associated with her father as well.
Emily gave birth to her's and Joey's son when Addison was 4. They named him Mickey Nelson. Addison quickly became a major part of Mickey's life. She loved her brother and wouldn’t dare call him a half brother. Mickey and Addison were both treated the same by Joey, making it easy for the two of them to bond.
When Addison was 9 years old, she began showing signs of her magical nature. Emily became afraid because she hadn’t told Joey that she was a witch or that Robert was a wizard. Emily did her best to keep it from him until Addison was 11, when a Hogwarts letter came in the mail and Addison's life was changed forever.
Emily hadn’t attended Hogwarts but Robert had. Robert quickly re-entered his daughter's life and this time he stayed there a majority of the time. He taught her the magical knowledge she had been missing before she left for Hogwarts. Addison had been fond of sports almost her entire life, but she completely fell in love with quidditch. Addison now lives with Robert during her Christmas and summer breaks from school. The two of them visit the Nelson Household so she can see her mother and brother. She and Emily are close despite the things she has been through. They spend their time doing what Robert does best: seeing the world!
