The state of events in the Old Kingdom is a sad one. The current Abhorsen can hardly keep up with all the Dead infesting the land. They enter our realm through the vast amount of broken Charter Stones that dot the landscape. Free magic sorcerers and Necromancers alike have full reign while the land is in utter chaos without royal leadership.

Across the wall, they are not free from the chaos of their magical neighbors, though those in the north feel it more easily. They are also constantly under threat of Dead creatures and sorcerers. The perimeter does all it can, disobeying orders from headquarters often, to stop these Dead from crossing, but it is a losing battle.

Evil is spreading quickly while good fights, it seems, in vain. What side will you be on?[/font]
