Biography: Lissette is the daughter of Walden Macnair and Lyandra Avery. They married after her father was left at the alter by Allegra Selwyn for a mudblood. Humiliated, Walden went to his standby, Lyandra, a woman who was over the moon for him. After Lissette was born, they settled into a routine typical of pureblood families of their status… meaning Walden virtually ignored his wife.
Lyandra grew reclusive and bitter, pouring her malice for life and love into their young, impressionable, daughter. Whether, Lissette was naturally of a callous nature, or if Lyandra's early teachings had robbed the girl of compassion is unclear, but the six year old barely batted an eyelash when the grisly murder of her mother was discovered.
Conveniently, that left Lissette's father free to marry the newly single (and reformed) Allegra Selwyn. She'd managed to crawl back to her family and somehow get back into their good graces. She brought with her, her daughter from her ill-fated marriage, half-blood Esme. It was at that early age, that Lissette showed her taste for torture, brutalizing her step-sister, occasionally to a point very near death. It became an obsession, trying to find ways to destroy this tie her family had to filth.
It was also at a relatively early age that Lissette noticed how men looked at her. Her father, who was steadily rising in the Ministry of Magic, also noticed, and often took her to the office with him and after one incident in particular, that was instrumental in his assent through the Ministry, she learned that she could use her body as a weapon, and to this day, it has not let her down.
While quite popular at school, especially with the males, Lissette was never much for friendship, choosing to call those closest to her 'acquaintances' rather than 'friends.' She did have a few that made some sort of an impression on her… The first being Adamantos, he was one who introduced her to the PC, and all that was in it. But Ad betrayed her, and she killed him.
She spent quite a bit of time with fellow member of the PC Meave Lestrange (now Weasley) they bonded over their love of torture, as well as Menance Malfoy. Now her history with Malfoy is rather complicated, but it began with torture and ended in the birth of their son Daemon, who she gave away to another PC member and enemy of Malfoy, a Mr. Tom Paris. What he did with the child, did not concern Lissette. Her maternal instincts seem to be in the same place as her compassion.
In her last year at Hogwarts, Lissette married Tavis Burke, leader of the PC. An advantageous marriage for her, to say the least. It was perfect, on paper, though Lissette really knows very little about her husband. She prefers to keep it that way though, for purposes of keeping their relations amicable.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Lissette moved out of Burke Manor, where she had been living with her husband, (somewhat grudgingly I might add, she'd liked living in the vast house) into a place of their own. Though believing that work is overrated, Lissette spends a lot of her time at the Ministry of Magic, gathering information, and making herself known to those in higher positions.
