We've all found ourselves, no matter our RP level, looking for a bit of help whether it be in improving our RP, trying to revive a muse that's dying fast, or just seeing what's out there to help us. This thread is for you all to post any resources for writers in general or specific to RPs that might help our members. They can be books, podcasts, websites, vlogs, anything you feel can benefit other RPers and yourself. It will be organized by topic: Character CreationWriter's Guide to Character Traits by Linda N. Edelstein Ph.D. - This lengthy book details types of personalities seen in real life and how they react, very useful when thinking about new characters. It also details situations characters might encounter and how different types of character might react, personality traits and disorders, obstacles, etc. PostingUniversity of Role Playing - This site will take you step-by-step through everything a good, lit RP post should have (reactions, thoughts, movement, dialogue, thoughts, etc.) and provides helpful do's and don'ts. TopicsOtherFeel free to post your own resources here. Just include the following information: The title of the book, site, podcast, etc.: Author(s) if known: What it contains: What topic it falls under:
